Vietnam Petroleum Exports +26.7% to $604M in H1
Vietnam is estimated to have raked in $604 million from exporting 915,000 metric tons of petroleum products in the first half of this year, up 26.7% from a year earlier in value but down 15.8% in volume, the state-run General Statistics Office (GSO) said.
The Southeast Asian country shipped abroad 130,000 metric tons of the products worth $86 million in June, up 17.11% and 10.25% on month, respectively, the GSO said June 25.
The office estimates the nation spent $3.286 billion on importing 5.313 million metric tons of petroleum products in H1, up 11.6% on year in value but down 21.7% in volume. (GSO)
