Vietnam Days to Be Held in China and Russia
The Government chief lately gave nods to special programs “Vietnam Days in China and Russia” which will take place in August and September respectively.
The events will be separately held in Beijing, the capital city of the People’s Republic of China on August 29-30 and Moscow and Saint Petersburg, the two largest cities of the Russian Federation on September 14-17.
These events are part of activities to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties establishment between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950) and the Vietnam–China Friendship Year 2010, and the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties establishment between Vietnam and Russia (January 1950).
According to the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), there will be various activities including seminars, trade fairs, exhibitions, film festivals, traditional fashion shows and gastronomic performance.
It was reported that between June 2005 and February 2010, Vietnam regularly held “Vietnam Days” in 13 other countries. The Government supports these activities to comprehensively push up bilateral ties between Vietnam and other countries in all fields.
