Upgrading Old Apartments, Developing Houses for Lease

Accordingly, the Central Committee will enhance the improvement of the old, downgraded and damaged apartments as well as renovation to old residences in urban area through encouragement to resettlement to the new urban areas and lowing down of the community density in the city centre. The policies on incentives to house construction for workers and improved control on houses leased to workers of private owners are continued by this committee. At the same time, the roles and performance of local committees in the key housing programmes are enforced.

 

The Vice Prime Minister has assigned the Ministry of Construction, in co-operation with the Ministry of Finance and Vietnam Development Bank, to make research and build up policies on encouragement of house leasing firm establishments, gradually meeting the demands for social house leases.
