600 Vietnamese Biz to Attend Trade Fair in HCM City
As many as 600 Vietnamese firms will gather at a trade fair entitled “September – Promotion Month” in Ho Chi Minh City from Aug 31 to Sept 4, the municipal Industry and Trade Service said.
A wide range of products such as footwear, apparel, foodstuffs, beverages, cosmetics, home appliances and construction materials will be displayed at the five-day fair.
The service noted around 270 businesses have registered to attend the promotion month 2010 to be held in the city in September, aiming to stimulate domestic consumption demand and the use of Vietnamese goods in the city.
Ho Chi Minh’s total retail sales and services revenues rose 1.7% on-month to VND30.12 trillion ($1.57 billion) in July. (News)
