Opening VCCI E-commerce Service Centre

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has recently launched its e-commerce service provider (VCCI eSP) with the aim of supplying e-commerce services for businesses as well as providing information consultancy, guidelines and policies to encourage businesses to apply for e-commerce.

 

Main operations of eSP include e-commerce floor solutions; integration of online payment solutions to e-commerce floor solutions; electronic wallets and bank cards; e-commerce training and certification for enterprises; e-commerce value added services; information security and digital signatures, etc.

 

The establishment of the centre showed VCCI’s efforts to assist enterprises to apply e-commerce in their business operations. This is one of VCCI’s activities to deploy project, approved by the Prime Minister, to help Vietnam become a country powerful in information and communications.

 

At the launching ceremony, VCCI signed cooperation agreements with many partners, including the University of Commerce, the Vietnam Research Institute of Electronics, Informatics and Automation (Vielina) under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Vietnam Datacommunication Company (VDC), SmartLink Card Joint Stock Company, the Hoa Binh Software Solution Joint Stock Company and the McAfee Inc.
