Market Survey to Boost Vietnam-EU Trade Relation

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will cooperate with Chambers of Commerce in Europe (Euro Chambers) to launch a programme to survey and seek partners in France, Switzerland and Italy on May 10-22.

The move is aimed to accelerate investment and business ties between Vietnamese and European firms.

This will be a very good chance for Vietnamese companies to exchange with the EU member countries and look for their partners.

Being the market with 500 million customers and per capita high purchasing power estimated at US$32,700 per year, the European Union is seen as a big and attractive market for Vietnamese businesses. However, penetrating and maintaining a firm foothold in the market is not easy for local companies. Strict regulations on policies, trade practices along with impacts of global economic slowdown are big barriers to Vietnamese enterprises.
