VCCI to Lead EU Market Survey Delegation
The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will organise an EU market survey and research programme from May 11 to 22, 2011. This event aims to support Vietnamese companies to know more about the potential EU market, offer opportunities of business cooperation and exchange for Vietnamese companies, as well as contribute to promoting Vietnam - EU economic cooperation.
The visiting delegation will meet with companies and business supporting associations in EU nations. Attending companies will also have the chance to survey markets by visiting trading, exporting and importing centres as well as explore business environments and consumer cultures of EU nations.
The European Union is now the second largest importer of Vietnam’s goods. In 2010, Vietnam's exports to the EU valued at nearly US$12 billion, up nearly 16 percent from 2009. This fact confirms that the EU has been, and will be, a potential market for the Vietnamese business community.
