At present, livelihoods of its employees and farmers have been improved significantly. The company always follows State policies. It applied new management methods to tea, maize and sugarcane production. Especially, in 2013, many farming households adopted new high-yield sugarcane varieties to boost their incomes and inputs for the Son La Sugar Joint Stock Company. In 2013, the base salary of the company was VND1.5 million.
In addition to taking care of the spiritual life of employees, the company also supplies labour safety kits for all workers such as clothes, hats, fire extinguishers, applies labour safety regulations, performs regular examination in safety conditions of machines, equipment and factories, regularly checks health of workers, and trains first-aid skills for all employees.
