From a small shop selling parts of agricultural - fishery machinery founded in 1990, by 2002, Tam Tho had matured into a limited company specializing in agricultural machinery such as plows, threshing machines, water pumps, milling machines, generators, and more; also operating as agent for well-know brands in this field such as Kubota, Vykyno, Vynappro, and Viet - Hung Electric Machinery Manufacturing Company. After nearly 25 years of investment, construction and development, Tam Tho Co. Ltd. has become a reliable company and brand in the market economy filled with ups and downs.
In 2005, the aquamarine fisheries industry thrived in Quang Tri Province, expanding across Vinh Linh, Trieu Phong and Hai Lang. Foreseeing the trend as well as market demand, Tam Tho has invested in machinery, ponds to feed and aquatic medicine. With a team of engineers and experts providing 24/7 services to clients, the company has helped ensure many consecutive years of success for tiger prawn farmers. This also reflects the success of Tam Tho, affirming the vision and direction of the leader.
The important turning point in the development story of Tam Tho was to become the official agent in Quang Tri of Truong Hai Auto Corporation in 2006, providing passenger cars, trucks, dumpers, bus and automobile spare parts. Especially, Tam Tho also has supporting mechanism for customers to buy cars through bank instalments, at the same time creating mobile repair teams to provide service to customers in a timely manner. In addition, the regular application of promotions and incentives for buyers also helps the company attract more customers.
In 2009, Tam Tho continued to open other showrooms for Kia passenger vehicles, providing locally assembled cars with imported parts. These products had luxury designs but come with prices reasonable for the financial capacity of the people. The following year, the company officially launched the automobile showroom branded Thaco Truong Hai in the Lao Bao special economic zone. That was the 3rd showroom of Tam Tho and also one of the showrooms meeting Thaco’s standard in ordinary commerce product line. With a total area of 2,600m2, in addition to an exhibiting area of 720m2, the showroom also consists of display area of agriculture-fishery products, providing for the demands of farmers in Huong Hoa district. The development direction of Tam Tho in the period 2010 - 2015 was identified as investing more into projects to further develop places such as Dien Sanh Industrial Zone in Hai Lang, Lao Bao Special economic zone.
Not only focusing on economic development, Tam Tho Co., Ltd. is also dedicated to good deeds such as charitable activities, Agent Orange support programs, the supporting-the-poor day, the go-to-school support programs and the charity house. Thanks to the contribution to the local economic development and social welfare, Tam Tho Co., Ltd. was honoured with the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit as well as other prestigious certificates and awards such as the Certificate of Merit of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee, and the Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
With a staff consisting of nearly 100 people who are dynamic, enthusiastic and highly skilled, the company has always shown respect to ethnic cultures. Besides, the company also has an office dedicated to post-sale customer service, providing reliable services such as warranty and maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction. Currently, Tam Tho Co., Ltd. is continuing to perfect itself step by step to guarantee its’ rise in an economy full of challenges and obstacles. Through this process, the company is also contributing significantly to the construction of the hometown Quang Tri into a prosperous and modern province.
