Director Le Thanh Tri said Thanh Tri Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd was established from a small manufacturer of planters, tillers and other agricultural equipment supplied to Lam Dong province. After the unit gained popularity, in October 2013, he decided to expand the scale and set up the company to have the legal status for exporting machines to foreign countries. From a small agricultural machine manufacturing unit, the company had to develop big factories.

After the Prime Minister issued Decision 592/QD-TTg dated May 22, 2012 on scientific and technological business development support programme (also known as Programme 592), the company boldly applied for VND10 billion for research and development on carrot and peanut washing machines and lemon squeezers. He noted, “With high applicability, I believe that we will receive State support for the prospective mass production of items stated in the submitted project.”
