Set up in 2007, Central Petro Investment and Production Joint Stock Company specialises in manufacturing gas cylinders, storing and filling liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and supplying gas in the Central Region and the Central Highlands. In recent years, global economic crisis, volatile world gas prices and stiff competition considerably affected the company’s operations. Before such difficulties, the company boosted marketing, enhanced its brand reputation and strengthened the unity of employees to complete its business plans. As of September 30, 2014, the company estimated to distribute 18,282 tonnes, earning VND400 billion of revenue. Currently, the company has five distribution branches to ensure product supply to consumers in the shortest time and at the most competitive prices. With its bold investment for networking, the company has a stable base of customers, including big companies like Dong Tam Factory and Thaco Truong Hai. About 30 percent of its output is for export to Cambodia.
The company always attaches much importance to building up and developing human resources - the main driving force that creates brand value and sustainable development for the company. They are provided with a friendly, close-knit labour environment and guaranteed all employment rights and interests. Because of dealing with in flammable products, the firm at all time imposes very strict regulations and requirements on fire and explosion prevention fighting. Besides, it closely incorporates with local fire protection agencies to train its employees and periodically inspect storage, filling and containing facilities to prevent any possible problems. As a result, the company has received a lot of praises from the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnam Young Business Association, the Provincial Police, and other agencies for its safety, fire control and security. Remarkably, President and Deputy CEO Nguyen Tien Lang was named Phu Dong Thien Vuong outstanding entrepreneur on October 13, 2014.
