With its dynamic, creative workforce and its efforts to strengthen internal resources, expand operations, and establish close relationships with strategic partners, Minh Hoa Investment Joint Stock Company has quickly become an indispensable nucleus of Vietnam’s supporting industries, particularly in valve and faucet manufacturing. The company is a trusted brand of domestic and foreign partners. By applying modern quality management systems, investing in technological renovation and equipment upgrading, and improving product quality, Minh Hoa is gradually affirmed its long-term sustainable development.
Promoting internal force
Starting from a small shop trading water equipment and materials, mainly pipes, valves and faucets and accessories, after assessing market development trends and consumer requirements, with the right strategies, Minh Hoa has become a leading professional manufacturer of faucet valves and taps in Vietnam.

President Truong Quoc Cu said, “Minh Hoa constantly studies consumer tastes to introduce a wide range of products of guaranteed high quality and models suitable for specific conditions of use. Quality policy and its creditability are the key factors to success. "Quality is gold, Customers come first” is the strategy that Minh Hoa has followed over the past years.

Shortly after deciding to build a copper and alloy valve, faucet and accessory production plant in Nam Thang Long Industrial Park, Hanoi in 2005, Minh Hoa focused on modern technologies and equipment for it. In 2014, the firm invested US$2 million to buy compression moulding presses and automatic processing machines to undertake orders from big customers. At present, the company’s production output is 6 million valves and taps and more than 10 million accessories a year. In 2014, Minh Hoa won many big export contracts like the contract to sell valves and faucets to Fujikin and accessories to Sanko. Valves and taps of the company were certified to meet BS5154 standards of Europe. Production equipment is mainly imported from Taiwan and China. Product quality is administered under ISO9001-2008 standards. The company’s products are equivalent to that of MIHA, MBV, MI, DALING, TURA and TUBO products. Nine products of the company have been added by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to the list of products in place of imports. This can be seen as the most valuable recognition for the quality of Minh Hoa’s products. In addition to the domestic market, Minh Hoa has exported its valves, pipes and brass items to customers in the US, France, Japan, Myanmar, Cambodia, the Middle East, Laos and other markets.

While diversifying styles, designs, sizes and types, Minh Hoa has actively expanded its sales networks. The company now has more than 500 dealers across the country and its products have been supplied to key national projects in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and exported to France, Myanmar, the United States and Europe. As it regularly wins big contracts, Minh Hoa now employs more than 600 workers.

Focusing on human resources
Minh Hoa always pays due attention to building a professional, skilful workforce. Hence, it regularly opens training courses to foster expertise and experience for its employees to meet new business requirements. Many engineers have been sent to foreign countries to acquire up-to-date knowledge and technologies of valves and taps.

Every year, the company organises field trips to Taiwan, Thailand and China to gain new experience and learn about modern equipment suitable for the company. Besides, it has actively taken part in conferences on supporting industries hosted by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. It also encourages its employees to contribute innovations to improve quality and production, a way to strengthen the relationship between them and the company. All employees have statutory insurance policies and labour safety instruments.

Minh Hoa always tries its utmost to affirm its leadership in valve, faucet and accessory production in Vietnam to gradually dominate the domestic market and replace imports, and export to the world. In its long-term development strategy, Minh Hoa will strive to make its products carry national brands, strengthen its foothold in the domestic market and expand international presence. Minh Hoa will also build a parts production facility in Ho Chi Minh City. President Cu said the Government should have support policies for companies engaged in supporting industries.
