27-7 Co., Ltd: Withstanding Difficulties

By overcoming difficulties caused by economic downturn, promoting stable production and business activities, and ensuring stable jobs and incomes for employees, 27-7 Co., Ltd based in Son Duong district has managed to uphold stable development and increase its contributions to local socioeconomic development.
In May 2001, Bui Duc Chinh and five returned wounded warriors contributed nearly VND10 billion to set up 27-7 Co., Ltd and he was elected the Director. The company is engaged in extracting and processing barite, lead and zinc ores, exploiting stone, sand, gravel, clay, kaolin and feldspar, and building irrigation and traffic works. During 14 years of construction and development, the company’s employees always unite to overcome difficulties and challenges of market mechanism and acquire new technologies to turn out quality products for customers.
 
The company has taken part in many big projects, including the embankment of the Pho Day River (Son Duong Town section), the embankment of the Lo River (Bac Muc - Bac Yen section), roads in Nhu Han commune (Yen Son district) and Xuan Binh resettlement zone in Doi Binh commune (Yen Son district). Early in 2015, the company and two other units built the 2.5-km long embankment of the Lo River in Tuyen Quang City. This project has economic and social significance because it helps protect the downstream of Tuyen Quang hydropower plant. Director Bui Duc Chinh said, in 2014, the company overcame all economic challenges to boost up production and business activities.
 
The company always pays attention to environment, labour safety and fire prevention in workplace, ensures statutory labour policies for employees, pays taxes to the State Budget, and exercise corporate social responsibility. Deputy Director Pham Hong Dang said the company always takes part in charity and social security activities. It donated VND250 million to “Dream Enlightening” charity fund, presented gilts worth VND500,000-1,000,000 to students with excellent study records, and contributed money to build roads in Hung Thinh village, Tu Thinh commune and build roads to Tu Quan quarrying site in Yen Son district.
 
Director Chinh added that the company will expand into mineral extraction and processing, diversify construction categories, grow forests for timber, and provide forestry projects.
