Bidrico Strengthening Cooperation with Japanese Partners

With more than 20 years experience manufacturing beverages, the success of Bidrico comes from brand reputation, consumer confidence, nation-wide domestic consumption market, and stable market shares in more than 15 countries worldwide. Bidrico is carrying out a global presence strategy. To learn more about its upcoming goals and plans, Vietnam Business Forum has an exclusive interview with Mr Nguyen Dang Hien, General Director of Tan Quang Minh Manufacture & Trading Co., Ltd, which owns Bidrico brand. Anh Dao reports.
Could you please introduce some key products that Bidrico has been providing for domestic and overseas markets? What countries are Bidrico-branded beverages currently being exported to?
After more than 20 years of construction and development, Bidrico has provided 44 beverage products to the market and Bidrico-branded products are being sold on wholesale and retail systems across the country and in the world. Bidrico bird nest drink, A*Nuta green tea, Bidrico energy drinks, Yobi pasteurised yoghurt, A*Nuta juice, Restore vitamin drink, Restore salty lemon, Bi’s Nest bird nest, lalala fruit juice, fruit jelly, Bidrico carbonated drink, and other products are widely trusted and chosen by consumers worldwide. Since our foundation, we have not suffered any scandal related to product quality. In addition to traditional export markets, the company’s Bidrico products have been exported many countries around the world such as Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and African countries. Specially, in November 2015, Bidrico products will be exhibited at a Food and Drinks Fair in Moscow, Russia with the aim of promoting brand image and product quality in a market more than 142 million people.
 
In the current contact of the international economic integration, how has Bidrico acquired and applied technology to production to raise product quality to the international class? What countries have internationally certified Bidrico beverages?
To have a good quality product, Bidrico has made continuous investment in upgrading production lines and applied modern technology. We’ve invested in a factory complex covering over more than 15,000 square metres with 11 extracting filling lines powered by European technology. The modern self-contained production lines retain the natural flavour of Bidrico products and pasteurisation technology is very strictly applied to ensure the high quality and safety of products and preservation. Besides, the company has actively adopted international standards like ISO 9001:2008, HACCP and cGMP.
 
Bidrico beverage products have been certified by international certification bodies in the Europe and the United States like FDA, FCE and SID. These are the passport for Bidrico beverage products to make inroads into demanding markets in the world.
 
 
Would you tell us unique secrets to successfully conquer many demanding and strict markets?
For demanding markets such as Europe, the US, Germany and Japan, prestige and quality must be placed a top priority. Being aware of this importance, in recent years, Bidrico is at all times conscientious, thoughtful and compliant to quality and prestige principles to bring best products to customers. The very serious cooperation attitude has helped Bidrico win the growing trust of domestic and foreign partners.

In addition, we always think that the acceptance in strictly choosy markets as the EU and Japan is like a certification of quality and we may more easily enter new markets.
On the occasion of Vietnam - Japan Economic Forum 2015, do you have any message to Japanese partners? To enhance competitiveness, does Bidrico consider strengthening cooperation with Japanese partners to advance technological innovation and improve product quality?
Japanese partners always place quality and commitment respect at the forefront and we appreciate this. Moreover, as Japan is pioneering in modern, most advanced technologies in the world, we very much want to boost cooperation ties with Japanese partners to introduce Bidrico products to Japanese customers while enhancing the transfer of new technologies to further improve productivity and product quality and enhance the competitiveness and brand reputation on the international market.
