Public Security Minister Holds Talks with Chinese Counterpart
Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang on October 19 held talks with Chinese Minister of State Security Geng Huichang in Ha Noi.
Minister Quang regards the Chinese Minister’s visit to Viet Nam as a key hallmark in the two ministries’ cooperation, contributing to strengthen the two nations’ Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
The two sides evaluated the world’s situations, exchanged measures to cope with threats to each side’s national security and benefits, and announced achievements in the two ministries’ cooperation over recent years and cooperative measures in the future.
They consented to effectively implement inked agreements, complete cooperative mechanisms, enhance delegation exchanges and support each other in terms of training and technique.
Minister Geng Huichang congratulated the achievements of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security over the past 70 years, expressing his hope to strengthen the traditional relations between the two sides in the future.
