Trade Envoy of UK PM to Visit Vietnam
Lord Puttnam, UK Trade and Cultural Envoy of the British Prime Minister just paid his fourth official visit to Vietnam, both in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, in two years.
In Ho Chi Minh City, Lord Puttnam attended the launch of the “Shopping is Great” campaign throughout November 2015 to January 7, 2016, organised by the UK Trade and Investment at the British Consulate General. The campaign aims to promote the feature and display well – known British cars like Mini and Jaguar/Land Rover and fashion show UK brands including Oasis, Marks & Spencer, Clarks and several others. Lord Puttnam also hosted the launch of the British Council’s UK film week from 4 – 11 November 2015.
Lord Puttnam also attended in the grand opening workshop “Engaging the section in infrastructure development” with the participation of Representatives and high – ranking officers of Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Quang Ninh. As known, the UK has a lot of experiences in planning and implementing on infrastructure projects.
