Denmark Awards Businesses for Efficient Energy Use
Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Charlotte Laursen presented energy savings awards worth VND270 million in total to two ceramic businesses in Kim Lan pottery village, Gia Lam district, Hanoi.
These awards are presented in recognition of the efficient investment of the businesses in using liquefied petroleum gas, which saves considerable amount of fuel, and reduces carbon dioxide emissions.
The energy savings award is an initiative of the Green Investment Fund (GIF) aiming at encouraging energy-efficient investment among small- and medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam. GIF was founded by the Embassy of Denmark in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade in early 2015.
