Ascott Wins Guide Award as Top 10 Excellent Enterprises
Recently, CapitaLand’s wholly-owned serviced residence business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott), has been conferred the Top 10 Excellent Performance for its Somerset brand of serviced residences in Vietnam, award by The Guide Magazine, a leading Vietnamese travel and hospitality magazine. This is the 13th consecutive year that Ascott has won this award.
At the awards ceremony, The Guide honoured 105 outstanding travel businesses first nominated by readers of The Guide magazine and subsequently selected by the executive board of the magazine in consultation with representatives from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as experts from the travel, hospitality, food and beverage and retail sectors.
Ms Lew Yen Ping, Ascott’s Country General Manager, Vietnam, said: “It is an honour to be recognized 13 years in a row and listed as Top 10 Excellent Enterprises contributing significantly to Vietnam’s tourism development by readers of The Guide magazine and industry experts. This award attests to our service excellence and affirms the strong brand reputation we have built up in Vietnam for more than two decades.”
In Vietnam, Ascott currently operates three properties in Hanoi – Somerset Grand Hanoi, Somerset Hoa Binh and Somerset West Lake, one property in Hai Phong – Somerset Central TD Hai Phong City, and five properties in Ho Chi Minh City – Somerset Chancellor Court, Somerset Ho Chi Minh City, Somerset Vista Ho Chi Minh City, Vista Residences and Diamond Island Luxury Residences. Other new serviced residences to be progressively completed include Ascott Waterfront Saigon and Citadines Bayfront Nha Trang, Citadines Regency Saigon, Citadines Central Binh Duong, Citadines Blue Cove Danang, Somerset West Point Hanoi, Somerset West Central Hanoi and Somerset Danang Bay.
