Knauf Vietnam's Gypsumboard Plant Officially Put in Operation
On October 30, Knauf Vietnam Co., Ltd. officially inaugurated its gypsumboard plant in Dinh Vu Industrial Zone, Hai Phong, Northern Vietnam.
As one of the largest FDI businesses in Hai Phong, Knauf Gypsumboard Plant started construction in 2014. After 2 years of construction, the plant is officially in operation with an annual capacity of 20 million square metres of gypsumboard.
Mr David Thomas, General Director of Knauf Vietnam, shared: “We have been in Vietnam for just over 2 years in which time have we set up an effective distribution network, with a strong customer base throughout the country. We are currently supplying the Vietnam market with our locally produced gypsumboard using leading German technology. All of our products have passed the strict requirements of TCVN 8256:2009 and ASTM C1396 and we have received a lot of positive feedback from our valued customers. With the official launching of our gypsumboard factory in the North, we believe we will be able to better meet our customers’ demands by providing the market with our high quality products and contribute to improving standards of the construction industry.”
