Johnnie Walker Classic 2005-Asia Series Ready to Tee off in Vietnam 

 

Chi Linh Star Golf and Country Club will be the host venue of the prestigious golf tournament entitled "JOHNNIE WALKER CLASSIC 2005-ASIA SERIES" taking place on Saturday February 26, 2005, according to Mr. Lars Holden PGA, General Manager of the club.

As a lead-up to April's Johnnie Walker Classic, Johnnie Walker has launched an innovative series of amateur golfing events around the region. Johnnie Walker-Asia Series, including a total of 11 events, will be held in the most exclusive golf clubs across five countries:
Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia.

In Vietnam, Johnnie Walker 2005-Asia Series are being staged at Chi Linh Star Golf and Country Club (Chi Linh Hai Duong), Vietnam Golf and Country Club (Ho Chi Minh City), Ocean Dunes Golf Club (Phan Thiet) and Dalat Palace Golf Club (Da Lat).

The Johnnie Walker Classic is the premier golf event in Asia with prize money of US$1.25 million attracting such big names in the golf world as Tiger Woods, Retief Goosen, Ernie Els, Greg Norman and Nick Faldo to participate. This year the Johnnie Walker Classic will be staged in Beijing from April 21 to 24, 2005.

 

Being a host venue of the Johnnie Walker - Asia Series, Chi Linh Star Golf is proud to be part of such a premier golf event in Asia. The event will surely bring the participants a game of enjoyment, socialising, personal challenges and integrity of the "Keep Walking" spirit.
