Ariston Thermo, one of the world leading companies in heating and water heating, has announced that Laurent Jacquemin takes on the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Group from the end of March 2017.
Laurent Jacquemin joined Ariston Thermo in 1992, covering different positions within the Group over the last 25 years: from product management to commercial responsibilities, from country management to global responsibility related to several regions and company business units.
Over the course of his career, Laurent Jacquemin has distinguished himself as a leader with strong values, who has been able to execute important changes and to contribute significantly to the development of the Group, supporting the company’s growth both in terms of results and in terms of quality. Laurent Jacquemin successfully guided, for example, the definition and implementation of important growth plans in Europe and in China; the creation of the brand Elco; the acquisition and successful integration of different realities such as Atag Heating in the Netherlands and Gastech in Denmark.
Leonardo Senni, who has covered the role in the last three years by ensuring the strengthening of the solidity of Ariston Thermo, as well as its growth in terms of size and quality, will take on the position of Managing Director of Merloni Holding.
