Saigon Beer Western JSC Reaching New Heights

In 2006, Saigon Beer Western Joint Stock Company was founded by the merger of Saigon - Can Tho Beer Joint Stock Company and Saigon - Soc Trang Beer Joint Stock Company. After more than 10 years of development, with the continuous investment in equipment upgrading and technological renovation for output increase and better product quality, the company - a member of Sabeco - has become a pillar in the Mekong Delta.

Right after the merger, Saigon Beer Western Joint Stock Company actively fostered internal strength and perfected organisational structure. And, human resource management was placed a key position in a bid to build up and train expert and devoted employees. In addition, the company invested in modernising production line systems to improve product quality and pioneered in applying energy-saving and material-efficient measures to reduce production costs and sharpen product competitiveness.

The operation of Saigon - Soc Trang Brewery with a designed annual output of 50 million litres in early 2014 and Saigon - Can Tho Brewery with a yearly output of 50 million litres (scaled up from 25 million litres) in early 2015 marked the growth milestone of Saigon Beer Western Joint Stock Company. With a modern equipment system; ISO/IEC 17025:2005-standard laboratory, and integrated management systems meeting ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 22000:2005 and ISO 50001:2011 standards, the company’s Saigon-branded beer has better quality, containers and prices. The firm’s beer output increased from 46 million litres in 2006 to 100 million litres a year at present. Its major products include Export 355 beer bottle, Lager 355 beer bottle, Lager 450 beer bottle, 333 beer can and Lager beer can. In particular, in 2016, the company sold 119 million litres of beer. This impressive figure was a strong testimony to the trust and support of local people for Saigon Beer and famed Saigon Beer brand in the Mekong Delta.
