Construction will comprise a 27-hole golf course, a 12.8-hectare residential and commercial complex, an 8.7-hectare high-rise housing compound and a 9.8-hectare municipal cultural centre.
It will be the third golf course in the central city with the two others planned in Hoa Vang district and Nam Non Nuoc beach, local authorities said.
The master plan, proposed by P& Z Development of Singapore, will also feature facilities such as a sports and yacht club, international school and parks.
The proposal came after a Singaporean-Vietnamese submission to turn Da Phuoc into a massive housing and resort complex.
A source from the Danang Planning and Investment Department said that the Singaporean company First Key Agents will team up with Hanoi-based Binh Minh Construction Investment Company to set up a 107 ha golf course, and 7.3 ha of townhouses, 9.7 ha of five- to 10-story housing blocks, 4 ha of 15-25 residential complexes, as well as a hotel, office, exhibition center, and sports and entertainment facilities.
However, investment capital for the massive development has not been defined, the source said.
The golf course is scheduled for operation by 2007.
