Keeping strong growth despite Covid-19
Over the past two years, the global and Vietnam economy have been seriously impacted by Covid-19 pandemic that has caused the double-impact from the global logistics interruption on Vietnam. However, with the spirit of embracing the difficulties and being creative in providing suitable, diversified services to customers, Bee Logistics has achieved impressive business results.
The corporation’s consolidated revenue in the first six months of 2021 increased by 200% against the same period last year. Almost all domestic and foreign offices of Bee Logistics have managed to maintain strong growth rates by rapidly being adaptive with the market turbulences due to Covid. Integrated logistics services were promoted and the volume of shipments increased by over 30% against the same period. Charter flight and air consol services have been undertaking frequently from Vietnam to the EU, the U.S, Australia and 3 trips per week from Hanoi to Incheon, Korea.
The number of Bee Logistics employees rose by 10% compared to 2020. There were three new offices opened in India, namely Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai City, and one premise is situated at Lam Cheabang Port, Thailand, in addition to the existing Bangkok office. Bee Logistics set up operations in Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, India, China, Taiwan, Korea, and representative offices in Australia and Malaysia. Moreover, to adapt promptly with the digitalized economy, the corporation is also continuing training courses to its workforces and applying digitalization in all activities.
Together with actively joining Vietnam’s plans in responding to Covid-19, Bee Logistics has consistently instructed all the offices and branches to apply preventive measures to comply the Government and the Ministry of Heath’s regulations, and to proactively take various solutions in response against the pandemic, to keep employee’s health and the business continuity safe.
Breakthrough solutions to overcome Covid difficulties
Bee Logistics is one of the pioneers in launching cargo carriage in charter flights in Vietnam since the early 2020 when many countries applied lockdown. Bee Logistics successfully provided the first air consol service from Hanoi to EU via Frankfurt hub, German by Vietnam Airlines chartered aircraft. Bee Logistics has also successfully operated air consol charter flights, offering timely options and satisfying customer demands.
For air charter service, various types of aircrafts are operated, including leading freighters in the world such as AN124, B747, B777, B787, A350...
Beside air consol service which offers loading for those who have not enough volume to hire a plane, Bee Logistics provides air charter flight service like 747F with carriage capacity of over 100 tons to worldwide markets, especially the U.S.

Bee Logistics is now working with airlines in operating air consol charters for routes connecting Vietnam and EU, and expanding their market in the North America. They plan to spread their footprint in the North America, EU and South East Asia by 2022-2013.
In the willingness to support and join hand with the Government to overcome the pandemic, with the prestige over the past 17 years, Bee Logistics is entrusted to handle the movement and custom declaration for dozens of vaccine shipments from EU, the U.S, Japan, Australia, Cuba, etc. to Vietnam. Bee Logistics is now one of very few Vietnamese logistics providers having the largest volumes of vaccine customs clearance service.
The largest shipment of vaccine to Vietnam was cleared at Tan Son Nhat Airport on September 27, 2021 contained 2.6 million doses of AstraZeneca, weighing of more than 10 tons sponsored by the German Government. This is the second vaccine shipment donated by Germany in the past two weeks. Along with the vaccine shipment moved through COVAX on September 16, the German Government has donated totally 3.45 million doses to Vietnam so far.
Most noticeably, on September 24, 2021, Bee Logistics cleared 900,000 doses of Abdala vaccine from Cuba to Noi Bai Airport on the special flight of State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on his official visit to Cuba, and 400,000 doses of vaccine donated by Japan to Ho Chi Minh City.
In Australia, a subsidiary of Bee Logistics Corporation is also missioned to transport Astra Zeneca vaccine from the EU to Australia and to deliver to administering set-up in hospitals.

Dignifying Corporate Social Responsibility
Attaching much importance to CSR in business development and the corporation’s reputation enhancement, Bee Logistics has been organizing many large scaled, meaningful social activities for the community.
A few months ago, Bee Logistics Ho Chi Minh City was affected by some infected cases founded in the employees, therefore some F1, F2 staffs had to be in home-based and institutional isolation. The company provided them with cash subsidies and expenses for medical treatments with the total value of approximately VND5 billion (over US$210,000). Although logistics business faces difficulties caused by the pandemic, Bee Logistics still implemented many community support programs such as the donation of VND100 million to Covid field hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, VND100 million to Hai Phong City Vaccine Fund, 500 protective suits, 1,000 N95 facemask and thousands of necessities gifts to Ho Chi Minh City, and medical materials and cash for the other localities of Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, and Hai Duong.
When the Central region of Vietnam was damaged seriously by severe floods and storms at the end of 2020, Bee Logistics promptly operated supportive programs: free carriage of 14 donation shipments to Quang Nam, Thua Thien – Hue, Quang Tri, Quang binh, five donation trips to people in Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, giving 1,000 gifts (milk, sausage, canned fish…), six tons of rice, 550 noddle boxes, 200 blankets, 600kgs of clothes, 6.500 liters of bottled water, and VND200 million to the Support Program for people in the flooded areas conducted by Business Forum Magazine.

In the two consecutive years of 2019 and 2020, Bee Logistics won ASEAN Business Award – ABA, an internationally recognized award by ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC) which is hosted annually since 2007, for Integrated Priority Sector, Logistics.
This award is in the framework of ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ASEAN BIS) to glorify emerging ASEAN businesses with excellent performance in contribution to the regional economy. To win this prize, candidates must undergo accreditation rounds, independent assessment with very demanding criteria on business development, financial health, employee benefits, technology innovation, CSR to ensure the business sustainable development in line with the social development and contribution to the regional community.
