SASCO Expands Business

Southern Aviation Service Company (SASCO) continues to improve its image by diversified and better services.
 
At Tan Son Nhat airport, SASCO has developed duty-free shops, restaurants, hotels, sports facilities and health care. The company continues to improve the service with experienced staff. Airport taxi and Saigon SASCO taxi have been upgraded with new cars and better service. The company has also extended transport and tourism services to Phu Quoc, Khanh Hoa and Hanoi increasing its role in tourism. In financial business, the company has increased the efficiency of its capital, for instance, buying shares in Noi Bai air catering company and increasing capital in the air-freight company TCS. The company has also planned to invest in transport services, real estate and infrastructure for tourism. The growth rate of the company in the past three years was 19.52 per cent a year.
 
In period 2006-2008, with continued high economic growth and influx of tourists in Vietnam, SASCO will expand trade and services at the airports with competitive products and joint-stock companies. It will also reach out to other business activities with short and long-term projects to make the best use of its resources. ISO 9001:2000 will be completed and applied in the company.
 
In 2006, the company will start investing abroad with project “Viet home” exporting mineral water, building tourist centres, living quarters and agricultural farms.
