Vietnam, Japan Exchange Stock Market Experience
The State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC), and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have coordinated a workshop on Vietnam’s stock market on March 5 in Hanoi.
The experts from TSE and Japan Securities Depository Center (JASDEC) have exchanged experience about the flotation of shares on stock markets, supervision of the market, and securities custody.
They also assessed the development of Vietnam’s stock market in the past and discussed its future.
Vietnam’s stock market is developing rapidly, but human resources are still limited in both quality and quantity, said SSC vice chairman Vu Thi Kim Lien.
Lien stressed that experiences presented by leading Japanese professionals in the workshop will help ensure safe and healthy development for Vietnam’s stock market in the future. (VNA)
