20 Groups, 4 State Banks to List on Bourse This Year
Twenty economic groups, corporations, four state-owned commercial banks and about 200 businesses will be listed on bourse this year under a recent Vietnamese government approval, local Vneconomy website reported on March 26.
The government’s move aims to diversify stocks on the domestic securities market.
Listed stocks are estimated to reach VND90 trillion, or $5 billion.
The groups, corporations and banks to be equitized this year have large chartered capitals, ranging from VND1-5 trillion.
Habeco, Sabeco, VinaPhone, MobiFone, Construction Ceramics & Glass Corp, Cotec Group are among groups domestic and foreign investors are interested in.
The Government Office just publicized the instruction by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on adopting measures controlling investment flows into the securities market, to maintain sustainable securities market growth.
If necessary, administrative measures will be taken.
PM also asked the Finance Ministry to cooperate with State Bank of Vietnam and other relevant bodies to work out those measures. (VnEconomy)
