The 9th Norfolk Invitational Golf Tournament Scoops

The 9th Norfolk Invitational Golf Tournament was contested by 144 enthusiastic golfers at the West Course of Vietnam Golf & Country Club on the 7th April 2007. Many of the golfers had traveled long distances to be a part of this exclusive and elite Tournament and were very excited to see familiar and well-known faces within the playing groups.

Best Nett Scores were held in three divisions. Division A Champion was Mr. Ha Duy Hung, Division B Champion was Mr. Tran Dang Long and Division C Champion was Mr. Lai Van Ngoc Son. Best Gross was Mr. Lee Haeng Jin with a score of 72. Other prizes were for Most Accurate Drive and Nearest to the Pin on all the Par 3's and a lot of lucky draw prizes were given to golfers.

Again this year, golfers missed out on the “Hole in One” prizes of 2 New Mercedes C180K Sport sponsored by Quang Dung Company and MT Gas Company.

 

The Award and Dinner ceremony was held at Terrazzo Restaurant and Terrace, 2nd floor of the Norfolk Mansion. The Gipsy band played lively music as the golfers satisfied themselves to one of the much-anticipated traditions of the Norfolk Invitational, the array of delicious dishes provided by the Norfolk Catering team.

 

The event was a great success and everyone commented on the quality of the course and the superb golf shots of the players. There was an abundance of fine food, drinks and golfing stories that should keep everyone satisfied for another year.
