The return of precision engineering and metal outsourcing companies at MTA Vietnam 2007 - the third international exhibition on machinery, equipment and precision technology from July 4-7, 2007 in Ho Chi Minh City - reaffirms Vietnam’s outstanding potential. As a commercial event serving the quick-growing production industry in Vietnam, MTA Vietnam 2007 will open new opportunities for the automobile, precision engineering, electrical and electronic equipment fields. This is also an ideal chance for bidders and producers in Vietnam to approach the world’s latest technologies in machine tool and precision engineering.

More than 400 companies from over 30 countries will be present at MTA Vietnam 2007. The separate divisions for companies from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan and Czech Republic are expected to attract Vietnamese and international visitors. World leading names will take part in the event, including Brother, Citizen, Fanuc, Finn Power, Hexagon Metrology, Kyocera, Mori Seiki, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Carbide, Renishaw, Sodick, Seco Tools, Siemens, TRUMPF and Yamazaki Mazak.

Mr William Lim, project director under Singapore Exhibition Services Company, an organiser of MTA (Machine Tool Asia) Vietnam, said: “Vietnam’s WTO accession and quickly growing economy made many companies quickly recognise the potentially huge market Vietnam is holding. This is proven by the return of leading companies to MTA Vietnam 2007.”

MTA Vietnam is incorporated with the MetrologyVietnam 2007 (International Precision Measurement & Testing Exhibition) and SubconVietnam 2007 (Asian Contract Manufacturing and Subcontracting Exhibition for Global Manufacturing Procurement and Outsourcing). During the exhibition, a seminar on the Vietnamese automotive industry will bring a deeper comprehension of the impacts of Vietnam’s WTO entry, both challenges and prospects.

Ms Bui Thi Thuc Anh, Director of VCCI Exhibition Service Company, another organiser of MTA Vietnam said, “MTA Vietnam has actually brought about business opportunities for Vietnamese companies to expand their markets as well as approach advanced products in the world, to improve their product and service quality to meet the renovation and development requirement of the production and engineering industry of Vietnam. This exhibition has received strong support from the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Trade, the Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). We believe this year’s exhibition will be successful.”
