CBV Introduces CBV-TOTAL & CBV-MIDCAP Indexes
Bien Viet Securities Joint Stock Company has introduced new indexes of CBV-MidCap and CBV-Total. These two indexes started their calculation from January 01, 2007 like other indexes.
The CBV-Total index covers all 193 companies listed on both Ho Chi Minh City Securities Trading Centre (HSTC) and Hanoi Securities Trading Centre (HASTC). With this combination, CBV-Total index will bring in an overview assessment of all moves of the Vietnamese stock market.
The CBV-MidCap index presents the transaction prices of 30 leading companies out of 60 companies of medium size listed on both HASTC and HSTC. The CBV-MidCap index helps investors track and select medium-sized enterprises with best liquidity and positive financial situations to explore investment opportunities in this group of companies.
