Developing Sea & Island Tourism in Vietnam

The Tourism Development Institute coordinated with the Binh Dinh Province Department of Tourism to organise the seminar “Developing Sea and Island Tourism in Vietnam” in Phan Thiet City from July 24-26, 2007. Some 130 attendants to the seminar included officials from central and local tourism authorities, representatives from concerned ministries, committees, companies, research institutes, tourism universities and colleges, and news agencies.

 

The purpose of the seminar was to exchange ideas and viewpoints on coastal tourism development in Vietnam and to propose measures developing Vietnamese coastal tourism - an important part of the Vietnam tourism development strategy from now until 2010.
