Int'l Apparel Expo to Open in HCMCity in August
As many as 100 domestic and foreign companies will showcase their best apparel technologies and products at the international apparel exhibition slated for August 9-10 in Ho Chi Minh City, state media reported.
The expo aims to spotlight high quality apparel accessories and products, enhance mutual understanding and boost business cooperation, said chief organizer Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas).
World famous apparel giants such as Austria Lenzing, Hong Kong’s Knopf, Taiwan’s Avants International and South Korea’s Cubitex are expected to take part in the event.
Vietnam’s garments and textiles sector is set to become world’s ten fastest growing in 2010 from the 16th in 2006 despite global fiercer competition, Vistas added. (Vietnam & World Economy)
