NICC Trains Managerial Skills for Business Leaders
With the aim of improving leadership as well as communication skills for Vietnamese business leaders, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) recently coordinated with Nippon - Keidanren International Cooperation Centre (NICC) to organise a training course on this issue in Hanoi. This course is lectured by Mr Motoi Mizuno, a Japanese senior consultant of human resources management.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr Pham Gia Tuc, Secretary General of VCCI, said to build a company with desired quantity and quality, the human resources training is the decisive factor, especially the business management staff. For this reason, VCCI has cooperated with NICC to open many training courses on in Vietnam, especially on leadership and labour relations. These courses have been attended by many Vietnamese business leaders.
NICC was established in 1994 to foster international cooperation through human resource development. Since then, NICC has played an important role in the international cooperation activities of the Japanese business community. NICC has cooperated with employers' organizations in developing countries in Asia and other parts of the world to help develop young business executives and to engage in other exchange activities. Approximately 15,000 managers in 82 countries in Asia and elsewhere have participated in NICC programs since their inception, contributing to the development of participants' countries and enhancing good relations between those countries and Japan.
