Agribank to Restructure 300 Branches

The Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (Agribank) has obtained a permit from the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam to restructure its network.

 

Agribank will reduce its branches from 1,470 to 1,100 nationwide. More than 300 restructured branches will be downsized to transaction offices. Agribank has the largest network in Vietnam and is the last to implement Decision 888/2005 of the State Bank due to the cost, technology and human resource factors.
