HASTC: 10 gains in a row

On September 17, the HASTC-Index jumped 2.33 points, or 0.9 per cent, to end at 261.81 points. The trading day closed with 38 advancers, with SD9 and ILC traded at ceiling prices through the day.
 
The Hanoi bourse kept active on September 18, pushing the HASTC-Index to grow the ninth trading day in a row, with a gain of 6.86 points, or 2.62 per cent, to 268.67 points. The trading volume rose 42.48 per cent to 1.84 million units valued VND156.94 billion.
 
CTN, SD5 and ILC made the strongest gains and were traded at the ceiling price rates through the trading day.
 
The HASTC-Index rose 7.96 points to close at 276.63 points on September 19. Investors kept buying in and the trading volume reached 2.72 million units valued VND222.64 billion. The market saw 71 advancers, especially ACB with a jump of VND10,700 to VND141,800.
 
After 10 rising sessions in a row, the HASTC-Index lost 3.03 points to close at 273.6 points on September 20 although advancers outnumbered. The trading volume reached 2.8 million units valued 260.51 billion. The Hanoi bourse admitted a newcomer coded PVS of PetroVietnam Technical Services Corp, bringing the total listed issues to 91. Many experts and investors forecast that PVS will make change on the Hanoi bourse as well as the listed stock market. (Source: HASTC and VSE)
