VCCI to Hold Training in Information Security for Enterprises

Recently, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) joined hands with CMC System Integration Joint Stock Company (CSI) to organise a general training course in computer network security and information safety. This is a free-of-charge course, part of project 191 - Supporting enterprises to apply information technology to further integrate into the world economy for development in 2005-2010.
 
Ms Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, Head of Consultancy and Training Department under the Institute of Business Informatics (VCCI) said the course will build a foundation for those interested in computer networks, security, information security, and those who want to become information security experts.
 
The course will provide trainees with general knowledge about information security, computer networks, and basic principles in information security, computer network systems, and risks of the system, methods to illegally attack and ruin the system, as well as prevention solutions. In addition, the course will equip learners with solutions to intensify security capacity of the system, restore security holes, plan and build policies for information security, data copy and restoration, and software protecting against viruses, spyware and unauthorised access into the system. Building system supervision and alarms on computer operation will also be introduced in the course.
