Vietnam's Consumer Confidence Index Hits Record High

The Southeast Asian country of Vietnam ranked high among 47 markets worldwide in the trust of advertising with 118 scores, according to a recent survey by the U.S.-based AC Neilsen market research company.
 
The company, which conducted biennially the survey, interviewed 26,486 internet users in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas and the Middle East.
 
The result showed that Vietnam ranked 8th in trust of all forms of advertising, with 60 per cent.
 
Up to 72 per cent of surveyed Vietnamese say that they are currently confident about their personal finance and willing to spend the sum on purchasing high-tech equipments and fashion clothes.  
 
The survey found that Filipinos and Brazilians (67 per cent) were the most trusting overall of all forms of advertising, while trust among Danes (28 per cent) Italians (32 per cent), Lithuanians (34 per cent) and Germans (35 per cent) were the lowest. (VNA, baomoi.com)
