Good Choice USA-Vietnam to Build US$1.3 Bln Tourism Project in Vietnam

Good Choice USA-Vietnam Company has got a license to build a US$1.3 billion tourism complex in southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, the biggest foreign-invested tourism project in the locality, the local Vietnam Economic Times reported.

 

Covering 155 hectares, the Vung Tau Wonderful World Theme Park will include a five-star hotel with 2,500 rooms, four other four-star hotels with 4,000 rooms, an entertainment area, an international conference center, an exhibition center, and other entertainment facilities.

 

The project is scheduled for completion in 2011.

 

Ba Ria – Vung Tau has so far granted licenses to 69 tourism projects with total registered capital of nearly VND4.8 trillion (VND4.8 trillion).

 

The province is currently home to 90 hotels and tourism sites, which increases 20 per cent in comparison with the year 2001.
