More and more Vietnamese consumers now can ride their dreaming motorbikes on base of monthly installment local commercial banks are offering, local media reported.

Local consumers no longer have to worry about financial sources for their personal spending especially motorbike purchase. The convenience is emerging as a new, inevitable trend, said David Windle, the director of Retail Department of Vietnam’s Technology and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank).

With the service, Ms. Hong Anh has just bought an Attila Elizabeth scooter for VND27 million with VND20 million sourced from Techcombank. She will pay VND1.05 million monthly interest for 24 consecutive months.

Our sale has been doubled to around 20 motorbikes a day thank to the financial service provided by Techcombank, said Hung Hai, a dealer in Nguyen Luong Bang street.

David said that Techcombank had inked cooperative deals with over 150 motorbike dealers in Hanoi. Clients can borrow up to VND200 million for 36 months after 48 hours filling all of the required documents, he noted. (www.phapluattp.vn))
