Vietnamese Delegation to Call on Singapore Investors

A delegation of Vietnamese officials will visit Singapore to seek investors from the island country which is now the second biggest among foreign investors in Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency reported.
 
The mission, to be headed by Deputy Minister for Planning and Investment, Nguyen Bich Dat, will also include six top city and provincial leaders some 50 Vietnamese real estate developers and is scheduled from March 4 to 6.
 
During the stay from March 4-6, the delegation will meet delegates joining Vietnam Real Estate 2008 Conference.
 
The event will be a chance for Singapore investors to seek investment opportunities for residential, office and commercial buildings, serviced apartments, and tourism and resorts projects in the northern and central regions of Vietnam.
 
The conference was jointly organized by Synergy Int’l Events Pte Ltd of Singapore and Vietnam Economic Times newspaper and CapitaLand Group and KeppelLand, two major sponsors of the conference. (VNA)
