Deutsche Bank to Provide Banking Services to Vinashin, Vinatex
Deutsche Bank has signed memorandums of understanding with two Vietnam economic groups, including Vinashin and Vinatex, to provide banking services to these firms.
Under the agreements, Deutsche Bank will help Vinashin and Vinatex with risk management, cash management, commercial financing and other banking services.
Juergen Fitschen, chairman of Deutsche Bank, said during meeting with Vietnam PM Nguyen Tan Dung that Vietnam is a potential market with young population and bright economic outlook.
Deustche Bank pledges to be Vietnam’s confident partner and help the country to gain the set targets, he said.
Deutsche Bank started operation in Vietnam since 1992. It has a rep office in Hanoi and a branch in Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2007, Deutsche Bank was rated Vietnam’s best investment bank by FinanceAsia magazine. (Thanh Nien Online)
