Over 500 Int'l Firms to Join Manufacturing Vietnam 2008
More than 500 companies from 30 countries worldwide have registered to participate in Manufacturing Vietnam 2008 Exhibition in Hanoi, Vietnam News Agency reported April 1.
The participants will come from countries with developed technologies such as Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand, the UK, Italia, Sweden and Germany.
They will introduce new technologies in plastic and rubber, pattern and auto part manufacturing, automation and power transmission.
The exhibition will be held by Thailand’s Reed Tradex Company at the Hanoi International Center for Exhibitions from May 8-10.
During the event, the organizer will join hands with Vietnam-Germany Technology Transfer and Training Centre (HwC) to hold a welding competition in search of the best welders in the country.
Prizes for the winners will be up to VND49 million (over US$3,000). (VNA)
