SeABank Wins HSBCCâ€s Payment Award

Southeast Asia Bank (SeABank) has received the Global Transaction Banking Award 2007 from HSBC for its international payment, the Vietnam Economic Times online said on May 12.
 
This is the second award in recognition of SeABank’s high straight-through rate for payment processing for last year. The bank has earlier got the same award from Wachovia Bank.
 
In 2007, SeABank made international payment revenues of more than VND4 trillion, an increase of 213 per cent from 2006.
 
The bank targets to attain VND20 trillion from international payments in 2008.
 
It also plans to expand the network to 85 offices nationwide, increase the registered capital to VND5 trillion, assets to VND40 trillion, outstanding loans to VND27 trillion, deposits to VND35 trillion and make profit of VND852 billion this year. (VnEconomy)
