Vietnamese Seafood Firm Wins Global Quality Award in Berlin
Binh An Seafood Joint Stock Company (Bianfishco) recently received the Global Award for Perfection, Quality and Ideal Performance in Berlin, Germany, the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (Vasep) said.
The award has been voted by European customers in a recent ballot organized by OtherWay Association–Consultancy and Administration Association of European Community.
OtherWay collects opinions from European customers and counsels in order to vote for the companies with best products of the year.
In 2007 selection, 40 companies in different fields from 30 countries won the award, and Bianfishco is the only Vietnamese enterprise to receive this award.
Binh An Seafood Joint Stock Company was established in 2005, started operation at the end of 2006, specializing in farming, processing and exporting seafood (Tra, Basa fish) with the largest dimension, the most modern plant in Mekong Delta.
The investing fund in Bianfishco until 2008 is about VND 1 trillion. It is located on two lots: 2.11 and 2.17 Tranoc II, Industrial Zone, Can Tho city with total area about 90.000 square meters.
Binh An Processing Plant has capacity of 500 tons raw material pangasius per day, contributing to solve the employment for more than 5.000 workers in local area. (Vasep, binafishco.com)
