Vietnam H1 Industrial Production Value up 16.5 per cent at VND326.6 Tln - MPI
Vietnam&rsquos industrial production value is estimated to have reached VND326.6 trillion (US$19.8 billion) in the first six months this year, up 16.5 per cent on year, the statistics released by the Ministry of Planning and Investment showed.
 
In June, the value reached VND56.77 trillion, up 17.1 per cent on year.
 
Of the VND326.6 trillion, the non-state sectors posted the industrial growth rate of 22.3 per cent, foreign-invested sector&rsquos value soared 17.4 per cent and the state-invested sector&rsquos value rose 6.9 per cent on year.
 
Northern Vinh Phuc province ranked the first with its production value rise of 32.6 per cent, followed by Hai Duong province (28.1 per cent), Binh Duong (24.9 per cent), Ha Tay (24.6 per cent), Dong Nai (20.7 per cent), and Phu Tho (17.7 per cent).
 
Consumer prices in June jumped 26.8 per cent from a year ago with construction materials soaring 23.75 per cent on year, the Government-run General Statistics Office said. (People&rsquos Army, GSO)
