"Towards Success Programme" for Businesswomen

To assist businesswomen, opportunities for them to meet and share their experiences in running a successful business while maintaining a happy family. The Businesswomen&rsquos Council under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) worked with BP Vietnam to organise the &ldquoTowards Success Programme,&rdquo which started to operate in May 2007.
 
The program aims to help businesswomen feel more confident in business, expand their business operations and build a female business network.
 
With this goal, the programme invited senior and experienced businesswoman willing to share their experiences in initiating a business or providing advice to less experienced businesswomen. A network of consultants has been set up and has developed steadily. The programme has also organised training programmes on consulting ss and communicative ss. Through meetings, businesswomen feel that their relationships have become closer and more reliable.
 
To encourage more businesswomen, VCCI collaborated with BP Vietnam to bring out a publication with typical stories of Vietnamese businesswomen joining the &ldquoTowards Success Programme.&rdquo Tran Thi Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of VCCI, hopes the stories in the book will help programme members to discover new business ideas and new useful activities to expand the network.
