Vietnam Pulls in US$800 Mln from Exports to Italy in Jan-October
Vietnam’s total goods shipment value to Italy reached US$800.1 million over the past ten months of this year, including US$72 million in October, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said.
Among the country’s key export items, footwear was the biggest cash earner with US$183.24 million, followed by seafood with US$137.4 million, apparel with US$83.96 million, woodwork products with US$34.45 million, and coffee with US$29.78 million.
Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Italy is expected to hit US$1.5 billion this year.
As of late October of last year, Italian investors invested US$93.27 million into 23 projects in the Asean country. (Vinanet)
