ASEAN-Northeastern India Biz, Investment Forum to Open in HCM City
The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Indian Business Association will co-organize an ASEAN-Northeastern India Business and Investment Forum at White Palace, Phu Nhuan district, Ho Chi Minh City from Feb 12-14.
Vice Development Minister of the Northeastern Indian Region, authorities of the region’s eight states, a 70-member trade delegation from other regions of India, 25 IT firms and 10 manufacturing firms will participate in the event.
The forum will bring the good opportunity for businesses of the both sides to seek more partners and boost bilateral cooperation, aiming to further raise the two-way trade.
Bilateral trade between Vietnam and India reached US$3 billion in 2008. (Vietnam Economic Times)
