Vietnam Biggest City Disburses US$147 Mln ODA in 2008
Vietnam’s biggest economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City reportedly financed US$147 million of 24 ODA-sourced projects last year, the state-run Vietnam News Agency said, quoting the municipal official.
The city’s ODA disbursements were down 20 per cent on year, local authorities said.
The city authorities said in a statement sent to the Ministry of Planning and Investment that they allocated ODA funds for East-West Highway Project and water environment project. (VNS)
