VietnamHanoi to Host Indochina-Myanmar Infrastructure Conference Next Month
The Vietnam Banking Association will hold a conference on infrastructure investment opportunities and initiatives to boost lending to infrastructure projects in Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Vietnam on April 3-4 in Hanoi.
The conference, passed at the 38th ASEAN Banking Council Meeting in Brunei, is expected to attract representatives from ASEAN banks and entrepreneurs in the region.
At the event, Vietnam will introduce its foreign investment regulations and policies, big infrastructure projects and industrial parks to the participants, the association said.
Foreign investors are still complaining about Vietnam’s infrastructure which remains poor. Therefore, infrastructure investment is one of the local government’s top priorities to lure bigger foreign investment inflow. (Vietnam Economic Times)
